A union boilermaker is a skilled tradesperson who builds, installs, repairs, and maintains large industrial components like boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels—often in power plants, refineries and paper mills.

The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers represents over 100,000 union members across the United States and Canada, advocating for fair wages, strong benefits, and safe working conditions while supporting training and skilled trades development.

Local Lodge 502 operates in western Washington State and all of Alaska.
